Cormorant was formed in 2014 through the merger of four proven Ontario companies: PowerTel (est. 1968), OneLine Engineering (est. 1993), EPTCON (est. 1998), and PowerTraxx (est. 2004). Together, they brought engineering, high-voltage construction, technical services, and specialized manufacturing under one name.

Today, Cormorant operates as a vertically integrated power EPC platform with four divisions — Power Construction, Power Services, Power Equipment, and PowerTraxx — serving utilities, data centres, mining, heavy industrial, renewables, and public infrastructure customers across Ontario and beyond.

We build. We power. We operate — as one platform.
